About The Club

This is what we do.

The Pima Amateur Radio Club exists to promote and advance the art, science, and enjoyment of Amateur Radio through education, community service, and fellowship.

We are supported by the Oro Valley Amateur Radio Club and are excited to welcome new members who are interested in getting licensed to use amateur radios or learn more about radio operation and the surrounding technologies.

Members of the Oro Valley club have generously offered to teach a class for the beginner technician license at no cost to students, making it accessible to all interested. The classes are 3 to 4 hours once a week for 6 to 7 weeks. They are not overly complicated and very laid-back. The classes will be offered each semester as long as there is interest.

We have also discussed installing an antenna and radio room at the Northwest Campus with the help of Pima faculty.

If you want to get involved or learn more, we invite you to sign up on the Pima Engage website or reach out via our contact page.
