The Pima Amateur Radio Club exists to promote and advance the art, science, and enjoyment of Amateur Radio through education, community service, and fellowship.
We are excited to welcome new members interested in getting licensed to use amateur radios or learn more about radio operations and the surrounding technologies.
Our meeting times and locations change from month to month, Please sign up for our club on Pima Engage to learn more. Free pizza is provided by OVARC, so stop by and say hello or bring any questions you might have about Amatur Radio.
We are strongly supported by the Oro Valley Amateur Radio Club, whose members have generously offered to teach a class for the beginner technician license at no cost to students, making it accessible to all interested.
We have also discussed installing antennas and a radio room at the North West Campus with the help of Pima staff and faculty.
